The Difference Between Rebound Relationship and Love

Category: Relationships — Author: T Dub Jackson

What’s the difference between a rebound relationship and love? Are there some similarities or just plainly different? If you are seeing someone intimately after the break up and needs to know whether it’s just a rebound relationship or not, the answer will be quite stiff. That question is not answerable with a simple ys or no.

The obvious answer is yes. It would have to feel like love in order to convince so many people. The emotions feel every bit as real and are, for all intents and purposes, as real as any other relationship. It isn’t the intensity of the emotions that is the question in rebound relationships but the readiness of the heart to actually move ahead is another thing entirely. Unfortunately the message doesn’t always get through when it is convenient. Occasionally it takes a little time to sink in. This is when rebound relationships generally end and the people involve figure out what was going on.

That doesn’t mean that the next relationship you get involved with after every breakup is going to be nothing more than a rebound relationship or that it will be doomed to failure. What it does mean is that you should be aware and examine closely your feelings for this person and how serious you want to get in this relationship.

Is there a safe amount of time to wait to avoid rebound relationships?

Not necessarily, for some people can move on in short period of time. But in the case of those who need years to heal, they have to be given ample time to be on track again. Jumping into a new relationship early on will just bring another heartache.

Be aware that rebound relationship are just like other love relationship. The only difference is that people question it for being the next one after a breakup. Be open and ready to face the feeling – that’s all that matters.

So, how can you tell the difference between a rebound relationship and true love?

Can’t be but it’s a must. If you know deep within you that you are no longer guarded by the fear to get hurt in love again, then go ahead. There’s nothing to fear. Love is always a great feeling that someone who longs to be loved needs.

Before you get involved in a potential rebound relationship you should explore your feelings and make sure you no longer want to know how to get your lover back. Don’t ask can a rebound relationship feel like love. Instead, explore the possibility of reuniting with your ex beginning with this free report: http://www.getyourexbacknow.com/just_break_up3.html.
