Losing Weight With The Inspiration Of A Partner

So how do you lose weight with a friend and see results? Losing weight is difficult enough but to do it by you lacks the inspiration and encouragement many need to succeed. Find a friend who will offer guidance, inspiration, and encouragement. This will increase the chances of losing weight and you will have fun while doing it.

Ask a good friend to help you make your weight loss goal. This friend can be anyone will be completely dedicated to helping you reach the goal. They must be able to be supportive when you do not feel like sticking to the exercise routines or diet. They will need to be able to inspire you to continue to march forward towards the goal when you want to quit or are tired. They need to know how to be positive and show you that you are doing a great job. It will help if the person is also joining you with the regiment so you can share the experience with them at the same time.

Begin by selecting the diet to follow. This does not mean that you have to avoid all the foods you enjoy. It means you will have to learn to eat healthier foods that will not be wasted calories or unneeded sugars. Learn to include fresh fruits and vegetables in the diet. Create a meal plan with different options for the days you will crave a variety of healthy foods.

Select an exercise program. The exercise program can be as simple as walking for 30 minutes every other day or as complex as working out at the fitness center three times a week for 30 minutes. Make the exercise program fun and enjoyable. This will make sticking to the routine easier when the certain days pop up and you do not feel like doing any form of exercising.

Create a goal for the weight loss. Make a period of time to reach the goal. Be realistic and easy for yourself. Do not say you want to lose 40 pounds in ten weeks since this is only setting yourself up for failure right off the start. The average weight loss that is healthy is no more than 7 pounds a week. Give yourself enough to reach the weight loss goal.

Make progress chart. This will have the beginning weight and the recorded weight loss during. Start off by weighing yourself in front of your friend. This will make you be completely honest and not stretch the truth about any losses. It will also help you to be monitored so if you are not on track the friend can offer encouragement or advise to get back on track.

By having the friend share the weight loss, you can support each other in the goals of meeting the individual goals. It is always nice to have support when facing challenges in life. Utilize the friendship to meet your goals while being there for your friend and their goals.
