Taking care of your hair is one feature of your personality that you require to focus on, because there are multiple possibilities that can help prevent poor health condition and even hair loss.

Therefore, multiple factors need to be considered such as genetics, diet, or even disease. If you continue to follow these treatments, they would help keeping the hair healthy.

The type of treatment a person opts for depends on the type of hair. Straight hair will require different protection than curly hair. Whatever the type of you hair is, you should treat them gently, especially when they are wet since wet hair can be easily broken. Hot hair drier on wet hair should be avoided. If you are washing your hair on daily basis, mild shampoo should be used. For oily hair, there are special shampoos available; people having dry hair should avoid washing them more frequently. In comparison with straight hair, curly and dry hair is more fragile. More care and protection is needed for them.

Cleanliness of hair is necessary. We should wash them regularly in order to maintain them. Selection of the shampoo should be in accordance with the type of hair. Baby shampoo should not be used by adults. People having dandruff should use recommended shampoo. Another important consideration is brushing. Proper brushing will increase shine of you hair as it evenly distributes the oils from the scalp throughout the hair. It is a good idea to start brushing your hair from end and then move up to the scalp. Wet hair should not be brushed because they are much weaker when wet. We should avoid rubbing the hair with towel, because it leads to breakage. A wide comb should be used for brushing. Conditioners can be applied after shampooing; it increases the liveliness of the hair.

We should avoid using hair heating appliances like hair irons and curling machines. These damage our hair to such an extent that it actually becomes impossible for our hair to get back to its normal growth and texture; we should only use such hair appliances when going on parties or dinners. Daily use of these appliances should be avoided in order to have shiny and healthy hair.

Moreover, never comb or brush your hair when damp. Also, when it is half damp and half dry, only then makes the effort of learning the style of your hair. This shall further enhance your overall look and would prevent excessive hair loss since you would not be under any burden. As mentioned earlier, when damp, hair tends to be very fragile and is easily breakable.

Hair is basically protein; proper diet having balanced amount of proteins can increase the growth of hair. Exercise, proper rest and sleep will also lead to growth of hair. A lot of stress may lead to problems with hair.

Make sure that you are taking care of your hair, because with damaged hair, no matter how hard you try to look elegant, you will just not be able to grab that elegance.
